The Aircrew Healthcare Project is an offshoot of our Aircrew Stress Studies.
Several recurrent themes emerged in the open-ended responses of the stress survey. One such theme is the complaint that healthcare providers who care for aircrews are not always well-informed about flying jobs or the "flying lifestyle." This fact can impact on their healthcare in negative ways.
If you have had a frustrating or unsatisfactory healthcare or counseling experience and you believe it was because a healthcare provider did not understand things about your flying job or your lifestyle, we invite you to contribute your story to the Aircrew Healthcare Project.
You may fill in the survey questionnaire multiple times if you have more than one story to contribute.
Participation in the Aircrew Healthcare Project survey is open to currently employed, furloughed and former professional Pilots and Flight Attendants.
Crews from all kinds of carriers, and of all nationalities are welcome to participate.
Participation is anonymous. The questionnaire is in English.
